Make sure that all gaskets have the correct fit. . These taps are not suitable for use on low-pressure and small electric storage heaters. . We recommend installing a filter in the appliance or at least using angle valves with a filter, to avoid the ingress of foreign bodies, which could damage the upper parts of the valves. . This tap is intended for use in private households only! Only suitable for use in rooms with a temperature above 0°C, when there is a risk of frost, turn off the water supply and empty the tap. . If the tap is not used for a longer period of time, we recommend that you initially let a larger amount of water flow before withdrawing drinking water. . Be careful when adjusting the hot water. Danger of scalding! . Incorrectly installed fittings can cause water damage! Despite careful production, sharp edges may occur. Please be careful! Disposal The washbasin tap is delivered in sturdy packaging to protect it against transport damage. The packaging is made from recyclable materials. Dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way. Do not throw the product into normal household waste at the end of its service life, but ask your local authority about the possibility of environmentally friendly disposal. Technical data . Flow pressure: recommended 1.5 bar; install a pressure reducer at more than 6 bar. . Water temperature: max. 80 °C · Water connection: hot - left / cold - right A Installation instructions . Turn off the water supply before starting the installation · After installation, unscrew the mixer nozzle, flush the pipe and the tap (hot/cold water supply) very well, to wash away contamination (splinters and hemp residues). After flushing, screw the mixing nozzle back onto the drain. . We do not assume any guarantee for correct installation - especially for subsequent damage!. . Check all connections carefully after the first use to ensure that they are tight. Care instructions Sanitary taps require special care. Therefore, please observe the following instructions: · Chrome-plated surfaces are sensitive to limescale removers, acidic cleaning agents and all kinds of abrasives. · Never clean coloured surfaces with abrasive, corrosive or alcoholic agents. · Clean the taps only with clean water and a soft cloth or sponge. Surface damage is to be expected if the care instructions are not followed. This makes any warranty claims invalid. Remember to unscrew the mixing nozzle at regular intervals and remove any limescale or foreign matter. It is advisable to replace the mixing nozzle with a new one in case of extreme contamination. Maintenance . Please note that the upper part of the valve is a wearing part and that in case of very hard or dirty water the valve must be replaced every 1 to 2 years as necessary. Please purchase spare parts from your local dealer. . Please check all joints and connections for leaks or visible damage at regular intervals. . In case of leaks or visible damage to the connecting or connecting hoses, they must be checked immediately by a specialist and replaced if necessary. Dismantling . Turn off the water supply before dismantling the product. . Be careful when draining the residual water. . Disassemble the product in the reverse order of the assembly instructions. WARRANTY CARD Franz Joseph Schütte GmbH grants a manufacturer's warranty for the faucet you purchased in accordance with the following warranty conditions. This warranty does not limit your warranty claims arising from the sales contract with the seller as well as your statutory rights. Warranty conditions: 1. Scope of the warranty Franz Joseph Schütte GmbH guarantees perfect material condition and workmanship suitable for the intended purpose, professional assembly, tightness and function. The warranty does not cover: · Corrosion of mixing nozzles (aerator) · Valves · Damage caused by improper installation, start-up and handling · Damage caused by external influences such as fire, water, abnormal environmental conditions. Mechanical damage by accident, fall, impact. · Negligent or intentional destruction. · Normal wear and tear or faults due to lack of maintenance. · Damage due to repairs carried out by unqualified persons. · Improper handling, insufficient care and the use of unsuitable cleaning agents. · Chemical or mechanical effects during transport, storage, connection, repair and use of the tap. 2. The guarantee covers at our discretion free repair, free delivery of spare parts or an equivalent tap against return of the defective part and/or the defective tap. If the model in question is no longer manufactured, we reserve the right to supply a replacement tap from our product range at our discretion, which corresponds as closely as possible to the returned model. Replaced taps or parts thereof become our property. The buyer bears the transport costs as well as the transport risk if a tap is returned. Reimbursement of costs for disassembly and assembly, examination, claims for loss of profit and compensation are also excluded from the warranty, as are all claims for compensation and subsequent losses caused by the valve or its use. 3. Warranty claim The warranty claim must be submitted within the warranty period with regard to Franz Joseph Schütte GmbH by submitting the original sales receipt and applies only to the country in which the valve was purchased. 4. Warranty periodThe valid warranty period is indicated on the packaging label. If no warranty period is printed there, then a warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase applies. The date on the original sales receipt is decisive. For all chrome-plated surfaces that are not shiny, e.g. bronze-coated or colored surfaces, the warranty period is 1 year, regardless of the label on the packaging, starting from the date of purchase, as specified on the date of purchase, the date on the original sales receipt being relevant. The warranty period for the faucet is neither extended nor renewed by warranty performances. 5. This warranty is governed by German law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). This warranty card is only valid in conjunction with the original sales receipt.
